We’ve just secured our mortgage through JG Mortgage Services, and I can’t recommend them enough.

As a self-employed business owner, with my wife also working for the business, we knew our application might be a little more complicated than usual. We’d also made a significant investment in the business during the previous financial year, so although our performance over the past five years had been good overall, the recent accounts needed some explanation for potential lenders.

Josh and Joel worked closely with me and my accountant, explaining exactly what would happen, what questions we might be asked, what to expect and roughly how long the process would take. Their experience with self-employed business owners really showed, and I felt reassured throughout.

They helped the lender understand our business, the investment we’d made and why it had been planned. We’re very happy to say we received our mortgage offer with no issues at all!

They made a very worrying time much more manageable, and I wouldn’t consider buying another house, rental property or any other property without first picking up the phone to these guys.

I honestly could not recommend JG mortgages enough! I was recommended them when initially looking for a house after becoming a single mum and being self employed. I was talked through what I could lend honestly. After deciding to a take a year getting more proof of income and saving, Josh got back in contact with me and has honestly took so much stress off me. I’ve managed to get accepted on a mortgage for a house I LOVE and never thought would be possible. JG has made a process I thought would be so stressful 1000 times easier and I couldn’t have done this without them! I genuinely can’t thank Josh and Joel at JG Mortgage Services enough for all their help throughout the whole mortgage process.

From start to finish, they have gone above and beyond to make what could have been a really stressful process feel so much easier. They were always on hand to answer questions, explain things clearly and keep me updated every step of the way.

What really stood out to me was how much they took off my hands. They were constantly liaising with other third parties and chasing things up on my behalf while I was busy getting on with everything else. It made a massive difference knowing that things were being dealt with without me having to worry about every little detail.

After originally contacting JG Mortgages last year, they worked closely with us until we were able to get a better mortgage deal. They gave us genuinely human advice and there have been times where me and my partner have felt like we’re the only case that Josh and Joel have been dealing with because their communication is so thorough and they go way above and beyond what is normally expected of a mortgage broker. Josh and Joel are worth their weight in gold!
